A method of manufacturing a hangover reducing drink by adding aspartic acid to herbal extract containing a persimmon, wild camomile, Artemisia apiacea, mulberry leaf, Haliotidis Concha, licorice root and Fructus Jujubae is provided. The drink is effective in alleviating a hangover. The hangover reducing drink is prepared by mixing 99.98% by weight of herbal extract and 0.02% by weight of aspartic acid. The herbal extract is obtained by extracting 25g persimmon, 20g wild camomile, 20g Artemisia apiacea, 17g mulberry leaf, 10g Haliotidis Concha, 5g licorice root and 3g Fructus Jujubae at 95 to 110deg.C for 3hr in a double boiler and filtering.
