A cryptographic apparatus and a method for fast computing a blinding-exponent for a DPA countermeasure are provided to cryptograph input data while blinding exponent at high speed, and prepare a DPA attack without lowering performance and security resistance level. In a cryptographic apparatus for fast computing a blinding-exponent for a DPA countermeasure, a splitter creates at least two separate secret keys. A selector orderly selects a window which consists of certain bits of the each separate secret key. A table calculator(320) calculates table values, and outputs scalar multiplication values corresponding to the window selected among the calculated table values. And, an accumulator(330) outputs accumulated values of scalar multiplication values as a cryptographed point.
