The device (2) has a U-shaped flat pipe (3) via which a coolant or a refrigerant flows, a middle region and two web-like regions. The device and a control apparatus (1) are separated from one another, and are detachably connected using screws. The pipe has contact surfaces at which a control apparatus lies directly or indirectly. A heat transfer unit lies at two neighboring sides of the pipe : An independent claim is also included for a control apparatus comprising a cooling device.
