A thin antistatic light-diffusion optical device is provided to prevent generation of static electricity and to embody clear image by forming an antistatic light-diffusion coating layer on a polarizing film-adhered optical device using a spin coating method. The thin antistatic light-diffusion optical device is prepared by the steps of: (a) mixing 100 parts by weight of an antistatic light-diffusion coating composition with 30-150 parts by weight of a dispersing agent to obtain a solution, and then forming an antistatic light-diffusion coating layer(400) by coating polarizing film(300) adhered onto an LCD cell(100) with the solution under a revolution condition having a revolution speed of 50-5,000rpm and a revolution time of 10-500 seconds using a spin coating method, wherein the antistatic light-diffusion coating composition includes a conductive polymer, 1-20wt% of light-diffusion particles, 0.5-15wt% of a hardener, and 0.1-3wt% of a leveling agent based on 100wt% of the coating composition; (b) drying the antistatic light-diffusion coating layer(400) at 20-75‹C for 45-70 seconds; and (c) subjecting the antistatic light-diffusion coating layer(400) to heat curing at 45-85‹C or to UV curing with an energy of 5-40mJ. The thin antistatic light-diffusion optical device has a surface resistance of e^(05) to 5Îe^(07) Ф/sq.
