A waste developer recovery apparatus in an image forming apparatus is provided to prevent waste developer, removed from an image carrier by a cleaning member, from being accumulated on the cleaning member, and make the waste developer transferred to a waste developer receiver, thereby preventing the image carrier from be re-contaminated by residual waste developer on the cleaning member, and accordingly improving reliability. A waste developer recovery apparatus in an image forming apparatus comprises the followings: a main body(10) which has a new developer receiver(11) for receiving new developer, which will be supplied to an image carrier(20), and has a waste developer receiver(13); a cleaning member(30) which is installed in an entrance of the waste developer receiver(13) and cleans the waste developer on a surface of the image carrier(20); a transfer plate(40) which is movably installed in the main body(10) so as to guide the waste developer, cleaned by the cleaning member(30), to the waste developer receiver(13); and a driving unit for movably driving the transfer plate(40).
