A three-dimensional image display device is provided to restrict display deterioration by improving the final resolution balance of a three-dimensional image. A three-dimensional image display device includes a two-dimensional image display device having pixels arranged in a matrix form to form a pixel group displaying an element image, and a light modifier having an exit pupil correspondent to the pixel group and controlling the ray emitted from the pixel of the pixel group. The pixel comprises RGB(Red,Green,Blue) sub pixels(2), wherein the ratio between the verticality and horizontality of three sub pixels is 3:1. The exit pupil of the ray modifier is formed in a vertically continuous structure. The angle between the continuous direction of the exit pupil and the column direction of the pixel arrangement in the two-dimensional image display device satisfies the following formula, arctan(1/n), where n is smaller than 6 and a natural number except a multiple of 3.
