An apparatus for steaming and drying ginseng is provided to reduce the energy loss and simultaneously operate both ginseng-steamed and dried functions by installing the lattice-type frame with plural wheels. An apparatus for steaming and drying ginseng is composed of: a ginseng loading unit vertically separated from the floor surface in a cylindrical body(10) with a predetermined distance; a heating unit; a heat exchanger; a distilled water separator connected to the lower part of the heat exchanger; a vacuum pump connected to the upper part of the distilled water separator; and a water tank connected to the lower part of the distilled water separator. Plural rails(25) are horizontally installed and vertically separated from the floor surface in a cylindrical body. The ginseng loading unit is formed with porous trays(21) longitudinally separated and a lattice-type frame(20) installed with wheels(23). |
