A synchronizing method in a TDD type wireless repeater is provided to perform a timing synchronizing for setting a forward signal process passage and a reverse signal process passage by calculating average power for a plurality of forward signals received from a receiver station. A synchronizing method in a TDD type wireless repeater includes the steps of: calculating an average power level for a forward signal at a forward signal process section based on a frame which is set at some point of time; calculating an average power level for a forward signal at a forward signal process section for each frame by performing creating a start-time delayed frame more than twice; detecting a frame corresponding to the maximum average power level; and creating a timing synchronizing signal which sets the forward signal process passage and the reverse signal process passage based on a detected frame. |
