Socket contact is bipartite and the parts are separated from each other. The first part is formed in the form of contact pin (2) and a connector. Connector is attachable to an electric wire (4) and comprises a contact part (5). The second part is formed as contact sleeve and comprises the contact spring (16). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Contact chamber for admission of a socket contact; and (B) Plug connector for forming a plug connection with a counter contact.
