An air evacuation device for a cavity of a microwave oven is provided to prevent formation of dew in the cavity, by smoothly evacuating air from the cavity during cooking. An air evacuation device for a cavity of a microwave oven, comprises a cavity assembly, an outer casing, an air flow forming unit, a guide unit, and a discharge unit. The cavity assembly has a cooking chamber with both side surfaces where an intake part and an exhaust part(68') are formed, respectively. The cavity assembly has a front surface with an intake port for inflow of outdoor air and an exhaust port for exhausting air to the outside. The outer casing covers an upper portion and both side surfaces of the cavity assembly, and has an air flow channel formed between the outer casing and the cavity assembly. The air flow forming unit forms an air flow for sucking outdoor air through the intake port, permitting the sucked air to pass through the air flow channel, and exhausting the air through the exhaust port. The guide unit introduces part of the air formed by the air flow into the cooking chamber through the intake port. The discharge unit discharges air from the cooking chamber to the air flow channel through the exhaust part.
