APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATING USING HASH ADDRESS

A communication apparatus using a hash address and a method thereof are provided to give the hash address, generated through a predetermined hash function, to each station and transceive information and data frames of the stations by using the given hash address, thereby reducing the waste of a wireless network bandwidth. A communication apparatus using a has address comprises the followings: a receiver(230) for receiving a frame including a destination hardware address; a hash address generator(220) for generating a hash address by using the destination hardware address and a pre-stored hardware address of a mesh point; a searcher(240) for searching a hardware address of the mesh point corresponding to the generated hash address; and a transmitter(250) for transmitting the frame to the searched hardware address of the mesh point.
