A low voltage differential signal receiver and a terminal resistance setting method are provided to overcome an accuracy limit of a signal by setting terminal resistance. In a low voltage differential signal receiver, a first receiver(110) outputs a first differential signal. A various stage resistance part(170) changes a resistance by a control code. A second receiver(120) outputs a second differential signal by sensing a voltage formed on both stages of the various stage resistance part(170). A comparing part(140) outputs a counter control code by comparing the first differential signal and the second differential signal. An up/down counter(150) outputs the control code to the various stage resistance part(170) to change the resistance of the various stage resistance part(170).
