METHOD FOR FABRICATING LIQUID LENS

A liquid lens manufacturing method is provided to make the thickness of layers formed in a liquid lens uniform and stable by inserting an insulation tube into a cylinder after forming an electrode and a hydrophobic coating layer on the insulation tube. A liquid lens manufacturing method includes steps of: preparing first and second cylinders(1,2); forming a hydrophobic coating layer(3) on the inner peripheral surface of the first cylinder; bonding the outer peripheral surface of the first cylinder including the hydrophobic coating layer with the inner peripheral surface of the second cylinder; joining a lower plate to the lower side of the adhered first and second cylinders; filling the inside of the first cylinder with at least one kind of liquid; and joining an upper plate to the upper side of the adhered first and second cylinders.
