A tunnel enlargement machine of a pilot tunnel of a vertical tunnel is provided to improve the enlargement performance of the tunnel and secure the constructing reliability through the machine by containing a drill machine, a drill guide, and a bucket boom at the lower working base. A tunnel enlargement machine of a pilot tunnel of a vertical tunnel comprises a machine room installed at the inlet of the upper part of the pilot tunnel; plural winches mounted at the machine room; an upper platform(210) connected to the machine room to longitudinally operate the machine; and a lower working base placed at the lower part of the upper platform and 360‹ rotated to dispose the blasted waste. A lift(216) is mounted at one of the hoists. The lower working base contains a drill machine, a drill guide(230) operated by a hydraulic pressure cylinder, and a bucket boom(240) installed with a bucket.
