An apparatus and a method for outputting Korean alphabets are provided to input the Korean alphabets without time-difference input or input using a function key when inputting the Korean alphabets in an information device through an input unit including a multi key in which plural alphabets correspond to one input key, thereby automatically addressing uncertainty of boundary between the alphabets which can be caused by continuous input of the multi key. An apparatus for outputting Korean alphabets comprises the followings: a Korean alphabet combiner(210); a Korean vocabulary information dictionary(250); a character controller(220) which determines whether a character system, generated through the Korean alphabet combiner(210), is consistent with a character system defined in the Korean vocabulary information dictionary(250); an output unit(230) which outputs one having the highest output priority, among the character systems generated in the Korean alphabet combiner(210), to an information device and stores the rest having lower output priorities in a temporary storage; and a link access information table(260) which has access information about whether grammar information of the character system, outputted to the information device through the output unit(230), can be combined with grammar information of a character system inputted after the outputted character system.
