APPARATUS FOR MEASURING DISPLACEMENT OF GROUND SETTLEMENT USING PULLEY

An apparatus for measuring sinking extent of a ground using a pulley is provided to easily sense the fine sinking fluctuation by using the rotating pulley and attaching the rotary-type potentiometer. An apparatus for measuring sinking extent of a ground using a pulley(26) comprises a sinking plate(25) installed in the object; a fixing anchor(20) fixed at the lower part of the ground; a sinking measuring pipe(21) installed between the sinking plate and the fixing anchor; the single pulley mounted on the sinking plate and rotatably mounted to both directions; a steel wire(22) whose one end is connected to the fixing anchor and other end is perpendicularly extended through the pulley; a weight(23) placed in the sinking measuring pipe and connected to the other end of the steel wire to pull the steel wire; a rotary-type potentiometer(27) mounted at the same rotary shaft as the rotary shaft of the pulley; a measuring cable(29) transferring the electric signal to the ground; and a protective box(28) protecting the pulley and the potentiometer.
