A three-dimensional image display device is provided to keep the predetermined ratios of horizontal and vertical resolutions and to let a user see a clear parallax image with a restricted crosstalk. A three-dimensional image display device includes a two-dimensional image display device comprising pixels arranged in a matrix form to form a pixel group displaying an element image, and a light modifier having an exit pupil correspondent to the pixel group and controlling the rays emitted from the pixel. The pixel comprises RGB(Red,Green,Blue) sub pixels(2) in which the ratio between the verticality and horizontality is 3:1. The exit pupil of the ray modifier is formed in a vertically continuous structure. The angle between the continuous direction of the exit pupil and the column direction of the pixel arrangement in the two-dimensional image display device satisfies the following formula, arctan(1/n), where n is a natural number except a multiple of 3. A reference parallax number(N) is n^2.
