CLEANING APPARATUS AND CLEANING METHOD FOR DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER IN VEHICLE

A cleaning method and a cleaning apparatus for a diesel particulate filter of a vehicle are provided to prevent damage of an engine or deterioration of engine output by performing heating process after separating the diesel particulate filter from the vehicle. A cleaning method comprises a step(10) of separating a diesel particulate filter from a vehicle; a step(12) of drying and burning particulate attached on the filter by applying heat to the separated diesel particulate filter; a step(14) of removing burnt particulate from the filter by blasting compression air to the filter through a diaphragm system; and a step(16) of removing the burnt particulate by using air injected from an air nozzle.
