APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING WOBBLE SIGNAL WITH PHASE CONTROL IN OPTICAL DISC DRIVE

An apparatus and a method for detecting a wobble signal by phase adjustment in an optical disc drive are provided to detect a clear wobble signal due to the increase of an operating frequency in a high speed. The first amplifying member(511) includes the first amplifier(512) and the first AGC(Automatic Gain Controller)(513). The first amplifier pre-amplifies amplitude of the AD signal. The first AGC regulates output of the first amplifier so as to have constant amplitude. The second amplifier(515) of the second amplifying member(514) pre-amplifies amplitude of the BC signal. The second AGC(516) regulates output of the second amplifier so as to have constant amplitude. The output signals from the first and second amplifying members are outputted to a subtracter(519) so that a clear wobble signal can be detected.
