<p>The method involves storing operational parameters in a remote control unit, in association with an identifier of a terminal e.g. fixed telephone (TF) and modifiable set of operational parameters. Data comprising modification indication, associated to the identifier and to the operational parameters stored in the terminal, is received and stored in the unit. The indication is provided by another terminal. An indicated modification is controlled by the unit. The operational parameter modified conforming to the indication is stored in a memory of the former terminal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a remote control unit for the configuration of user terminals (2) a terminal comprising operational parameter storage unit (3) a computer program to be installed in a remote control unit for execution by a processor of the unit and comprising instructions for implementing a method for modifying an operational parameter stored in a memory of a terminal.</p> |
