A WIRELESS NETWORK DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MOBILE SYSTEM

A device and a method for displaying wireless network connection in a mobile terminal are provided to hide ad-hoc having the same network ID as an AP(Access Point) by discriminating the AP and the ad-hoc in WZC(Window Zero Configuration) of the mobile terminal. WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) hardware(130) provides a path for the wireless network. A searcher searches the AP and the ad-hoc of the wireless network. A display part(140) displays the searched AP and ad-hoc. A controller eliminates the ad-hoc from display in case that the searched AP and ad-hoc have the same network ID. The WLAN hardware is a communication chip and the mobile terminal is a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant).
