An air pump includes a cylindrical casing (10), a manometer (30) movably received in the cylindrical casing (10), an air duct (40) in the manometer (30) to be firmly engaged with the cylindrical casing (10), a tube (401) to be received inside the manometer (30), a rod (42) having an annular groove (44) to receive therein a second O ring (45), a recoil spring (36) mounted outside the manometer (30). When the first O ring (35) is moved upward, air inside a space defined by the manometer (30) and cylindrical casing (10) is able to flow through a gap between the manometer (30) and the tube (401) and into the air duct (40) via a channel (43) in the rod (42) and into an object to be inflated. |
