A method and a system for offering a content character service are provided to implement/represent a use frequency and availability of additional services and contents available to a mobile terminal, and induce use of the additional service and the contents. A character server(140) provides a content character list to make the mobile terminal to select a content character, downloads the selected content character to the mobile terminal(110), checks the use frequency of the contents in the mobile terminal, and generates and transmits a character parameter value based on the use frequency to the mobile terminal. A character service database(150) classifies and stores data related to the content character service, provides the data according to a request of the character server, and stores a mobile phone number and history information of a mobile terminal user. The mobile terminal grows the content character based on the character parameter value received from the character server. |
