A mobile terminal system having a PTT(Push-To-Talk) service function and its control method are provided to allow members who have not participated in a PTT service to receive the latest information through update information and thus quickly execute a PTT service connection as desired. A display unit(2) is installed on a portion of a main body of a mobile terminal(1) and displays group member information according to the execution of a PTT function. When the PTT function is executed, an MSM(Mobile Station Modem) unit(3) checks presence of PTT group members, arrays numbers of members in absence, manages the numbers in a number list, includes update information in an SMS, and transmits it to the absent members on the number list. A memory unit(6) stores the update information of the PTT group members.
