A dot sighting device is provided to achieve improved effective hitting rate by conveniently operating an infrared lighting unit during night time. A dot sighting device(1) comprises an LED power unit, an infrared lighting unit(3), a controller, and a mount fixing slit(22). The LED power unit is arranged at a lower end of a housing(2) of the dot sighting device, and has a rear end with a cap(6) and a battery receiving portion and a front end with a switch function. The infrared lighting unit has a rear end with a battery cap and a backup battery receiving portion and a front end with an IR laser element receiving portion. The controller is arranged in the space formed between the LED power unit and the infrared lighting unit. The controller includes a positive ground terminal and a sensor for controlling the quantity of light of LED and infrared lighting unit. The mount fixing slit is formed at a lower end of the LED power unit and a lower end of the infrared lighting unit.
