<p>The invention relates to a method for curing radically curable compounds (1.8) in a protective atmosphere (1.4), wherein curing proceeds according to a radical mechanism and is initiated, or initiated and maintained, by radiating the radically curable compounds (1.8), while the protective atmosphere is prevented from flowing laterally away. According to the invention, the radically curable compounds (1.8) (1) are immersed in a protective atmosphere (1.4) below a depth (1.4.2) as of which the protective atmosphere (1.4) has a constant lowest oxygen concentration, and (2) are irradiated below this depth (1.4.2) in the protective atmosphere, whereby at least one of the radiation sources (1.5) is located below the interface between the protective gas and air (1.4.1), and (3) the resulting cured compounds (1.8) are withdrawn from the protective atmosphere (1.4). The invention also relates to a device (1) for carrying out the inventive method.</p> |
