A luggage compartment protecting device having at least one winding rotation shaft is provided to fit into an inner space of a vehicle by modifying the structure of the device. A luggage compartment protecting device installed as a luggage compartment closing unit comprises a terminal cap mounted on a cassette housing(2a) to be connected with an outer profile or the cassette housing as a line in a connecting area. One(3a) of the terminal caps is additionally disposed and limited to be moved along the shaft. Also, the cassette housing is installed and separated at a fixing receiving unit of the vehicle side of a luggage compartment guardrail along the shaft. A receiving edge(9a) circulated at the cassette housing is miniaturized to guide the terminal cap along the shaft coaxially with ordinate axis of the cassette housing. The terminal cap has reduced inner wall strength along almost length of the shaft to be linearly mounted to the receiving edge.
