An electric-part cooling device for a cooling system and a method for controlling the same are provided to prolong a lifespan of an electric part by preventing abrupt variation of temperature of the electric part through a function of a heat accumulating part. An electric-part cooling device includes a cooling line(22) having a cooling part(21) for cooling an electric part with a coolant, and an opening/closing valve(23) controlling flow of the coolant by opening or closing the cooling line. A heat accumulating unit(24) is interposed between the cooling part of the cooling line and the electric part, and has heat capacity higher than that of the electric part. The heat accumulating member is filled with a liquid having high heat capacity.
