<p>A stand for an image display device is provided to prevent front/rear motion of the image display device by gear interconnection when the image display device is moved to an upward/downward direction and realize the front/rear motion of the image display device by using a triple hinge having variable freedom of degree. A monitor link member(60) is pivotally combined to the image display device(10). A base link member(70) is pivotally combined to a base part(20) for supporting the image display device. A linker makes the monitor link member interconnected with the base link member by being interposed between the monitor link member and the base link member. A link releasing part prevents the monitor or base link member from pivoting without being restricted to the linker in the monitor or base link member. The linker includes the first gear(67) rotated with the monitor or base link member by being placed on a rotating shaft of the monitor or base link member, and the second gear(77) transferring rotation of the monitor or base link member to the base or link member by being engaged with the first gear.</p> |
