A recording medium having a data structure for managing font information of a text subtitle, a recording/reproducing method, and an apparatus therefor are provided to pre-load/store clip information of text subtitle streams in a memory so that a user can selectively reproduce data according to a desired language. A specific title to be reproduced is managed by a playlist file and the main AV(Audio/Video) data are recorded in a main club. One main clip is managed by plural play items. Other main clips are managed by plural playitems within a playlist. The supplementary data are recorded in independent clips and managed by sub playitems. For each supplementary data type, one sub path exists and the sub playitems are structured by the sub path. The supplementary data are stored according to a clip type and managed by plural sub playitem.
