A guide vane of a fan-motor for a vacuum cleaner is provided to increase the cooling efficiency of the motor and prevent the motor from being overheated by effectively blowing the air to the motor according to the improved suction force of the fan-motor. A guide vane(100) of a fan-motor for a vacuum cleaner is composed of: a plate-shaped body part(110) mounted in an impeller casing of the fan-motor; multistage-typed plural diffuser vanes(120) arranged at the edge of the upper surface of the body part with a predetermined interval so as to raise pressure of the air passing through the impeller and radially separated from the rotary center of the body part; and plural return vanes formed at the lower surface of the body part to guide the air with the raised pressure by the diffuser vane into the motor. The multistage-typed vanes are arranged to be crossed for the radial direction of the body part.
