A repairing apparatus and a repairing method for a flat display device are provided to simultaneously correct the defects of a pattern, which is formed in a predetermined region of a display panel, thereby improving the productivity, by using a mask having a mask pattern corresponding to the pattern of the panel. A light source(30) is configured to emit a light. A mask(32) includes a mask pattern(33) corresponding to a pattern(22), which is formed on a predetermined region of a panel(20). The mask makes the light emitted from the light source pass therethrough, thereby simultaneously applying the light to a predetermined region except the pattern of the panel. |
