A method and a system for remote computer control optimized to the low-speed network and a low level personal communication terminal are provided to directly select/execute a function or a work list by accessing a remote computer in a location difficult to connect with the high-speed network with the low level personal communication terminal. A remote computer manager(130) extracts attribute information of an application program installed in the remote computer(100) and transmits the processed attribute information through the wired/wireless network(150). A remote communication terminal(200) requests the attribute information of the application program and reconfigures a user interface of the application program based on the received information. The remote computer manager is installed to the remote computer. The remote computer and the remote communication terminal are directly communicated through the network. The received information includes at least one Windows coordinate information of the application program, information for GUI(Graphic User Interface) controls used in the application program, and the information capturing an image of the application program.
