SECURE DATA STORAGE APPARATUS WITH MEMORY CARD INTERFACE

A secure data storage device equipped with a memory card interface is provided to safely store data by mounting an IC chip for safely storing secure data to a mobile storage device equipped with the memory card interface. A memory cell(420) stores inputted data according to a memory card control signal. A security chip(440) is accessed through an authentication processing according to a USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface control signal while storing the inputted data. A memory card interface transfers the data inputted through a memory card interface signal protocol to the memory cell and transfers the data inputted according to a USB interface signal protocol to the security chip. A memory card controller(410-1) uses an I/O(Input/Output) terminal unused in the memory card interface as the I/O port for USB interface data. The memory card interface is a MiniSD(Secure Digital) card interface.
