The proposed adaptive device for filtering the parameters of the path of a maneuvering target contains a second-order Kalman filter, a third-order Kalman filter, a switching unit, and, for the purpose to estimate measurement accuracy, a unit for forming data sample, a unit for correcting the correlation matrix of measurement errors, a unit for detecting the target maneuver and determining the parameters of the target maneuver, and a unit for determining the correlation matrix of errors in determining the parameters of the target maneuver. The unit for correcting the correlation matrix of measurement errors contains a unit for determining an average value, a unit for determining the correlation matrix of filtration errors, and a unit for determining the correlation matrix of measurement errors.
