Tricot with cross interweaving has courses of straight and zigzag wales, and the stitch bases of the face and the back side are crossed in zigzag wales. Tricot is made on the basis of double plated structure in which zigzag wales alternate with straight wales according to repeat and have not less than two stitches inclined in one direction each.
