A method for treatment of leather semi-finished product through additional tanning, filling and bleaching with use of whitening as mineral filling agent. In the process of bleaching sodium polyphosphate is added to solution with whitening, preferably sodium hexamethaphosphate, in amount of 10.0-15.0 % of the whitening weight.
