The method for diagnosis of the state of head-and-neck tumors comprises the location of the pathologic focus and the assessment of the vasculature of the tumor, the administration of the contrast substance, the monitoring of its circulation by means of the selective tomography, the visualization of the vasculature of the tumor, and its assessment. In addition, the femoral artery is catheterized using Seldinger's technique. Using the graphical computer analyzer, the saturation of the vasculature by the contrast substance is assessed, and the vascularization intensity is estimated judging by theangiographic image. Depending on the development of the vasculature, hypovascularization, moderate vascularization or hypervascularization is diagnosed. The angiographic image obtained by the computed tomographic angiography is stored as a file.
