The method involves flowing fluid current (19) to activatable and deactivatable main current, and carrying particles of sediment in a repository. The main current is skewed from the fluid current and the main current is laterally established to the longitudinal axis of the main current for obtaining a helical main current. The main current has a curvilinear, round cross-sectional form, where the fluid current skews the main current approximately tangential for curvilinear cross-sectional form. The main current is activated and/or supported by a pressure medium. An independent claim is also included for a trigger mechanism for removing sediment in a repository.
