A block for building retaining walls and a constructing method of the block are provided to improve stability and durability by forming the body and the fixing pin formed with a support part and a hanging unit. A block for building retaining walls comprises a body(100) having front and rear plate parts(120,140) having the same height at the front and rear surfaces, a connection part(160) integrally connected to the front and rear plate parts to form a recessed space at the left and right sides, and through-holes(180) penetrating the center of the front and rear plate parts and the connection part; and a fixing pin(200) formed with a support part(220) long-extended to penetrate the holes, and a hanging unit hung at the shear of the holes. The fixing pin is formed with a male screw, and the hanging unit is combined with the male screw and formed with a combining nut(240) to be fixed at the shear of the hole. |
