The invention relates to the frame of the flatcar. A frame contains side beams, centre sill, end beams, bolster beams and intermediate cross beams. Bolster, end and intermediate cross beams connect side beams with centre sill and lie in one plane, which forms the plane of frame. Cross section of each side beam is a profile, upper part of which protrudes above the plane of frame.
