The proposed armature winding of a direct-current electric machine is distinctive by that the winding turns that are short-circuited by the commutatorbrushes are not present in the winding. This feature results in the enhanced reliability of the machine, a possibility to increase current in the winding, reduced consumption of materials in producing the machine, and a possibility to exclude additional poles in the design of the machine. The pitch of the winding is multiple of integer. The commutator brushes are arranged with a pitch of K/2p, where 2p is the number of the machine poles, K is the number of the commutator bars.
