The system has a plate shaped solid body (10) with laser active material, a laser field (20) penetrating the body, a pump field (32) for the laser active material, a cooling device (50) and a laser field reflector. A solid body bearer (40) is transparent to and penetrated by the laser field. The solid body is arranged with a flat side on a bearer surface and is defined in shape and position only by the bearer surface interacting with this side.
