METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT CONVERTER MELTING AND MECHANISM FOR REALIZING THE SAME

The invention relates to ferrous industry and concerns the technology of steel melting in oxygen converters. A method for carrying out converter melting by blowing bath with oxygen and forming magnetic field by coil-solenoid in the volume of converter. The magnetic field is created using direct current, which is in advance modulated before delivering to the coil-solenoid providing melt movement to the center of converter. A mechanism for carrying out converter melting is equipped with device for current modulation being placed between current source and coil-solenoid. The technical result: reduction in flue dust escape from converter, increase in suitable metal output, adjusting melt temperature at the aggregate output.
