The method for isolating the preparation of the exogenous surfactant from the lungs of the animals comprises the grinding of the raw material, the treatment of the tissue with the physiologic saline, the filtration, and the centrifugation. The upper phase is discarded. Prior to the treatment with the physiologic saline, the precipitate in treated with the chemically pure chloroform at a 1:10 ratio for 24 hours. The physiologic saline is added at a 3:1 ratio by volume for at least 8 hours. Upon the removal of the upper phase, tocopherol acetate is added to the rest of the solution at a concentration of 0.045-0.055 % relative to the lipid mass. The chloroform is evaporated. The dry substance is emulsified in sodium chloride solution.
