The proposed device for indicating the integrity of equipment, specifically mining equipment, contains an optical radiation source, a fiber lightguide, a photodetector, and additionally, an adder and an indicator. The fiber lightguide contains a protective, specifically polyethylene, cover. The radiation source is connected to the photodetector via the lightguide. The output of the photodetector is connected to the corresponding input of the adder. The output of the adder is connected to the input of the indicator.
