METHOD FOR CHOLECYSTOSTOMY IN PATIENTS WITH MECHANICAL JAUNDICE

The method for cholecystostomy in the patients with the mechanical jaundice comprises the insertion of the catheter to the gall bladder and its fixation with the aid of two ligatures. Triple-lumen Foley catheter with the inflatable cuff is used. The catheter is inserted under the control of videolaparoscope and fixed with two previously applied external ligatures sewed into the aponeurosis and the skin of the anterior abdominal wall. In addition, two clips are applied laparoscopically to the bottom of the gall bladder.
