METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE SENSITIVITY OF EXPLOSIVE TO VIBRATIONS

The proposed method for determining the sensitivity of explosive to vibrations consists in passing the explosive between two rollers that are exposed to vibrations with different parameters and frequencies, determining the parameters and frequencies at which the explosive detonates, and determining the characteristics that define relationships between the said parameters. The proposed method provides a possibility to obtain the data that are used to enhance safety when handling the explosive.
