Set (A) of primer pairs in which at least 5 pairs, each pair containing sense and antisense primers, are selected from 24 specific pairs, comprising Seq. (1)-(48), all reproduced and containing 17-23 nucleotides (nt). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) set (B) of DNA fragments that have been amplified from the DNA of a particular variety of wheat, using set (A), and that are specific for the variety; (2) kit for preparing DNA fragments from wheat comprising (A) and a solution that functions as size marker for the fragments; and (3) method for genetic profiling of a specific wheat variety.
