A method and a system for security, and a computer-readable recording medium storing the same are provided to safely transfer data and prevent damage caused from malicious programs by keeping security in data I/O(Input/Output) to a client, and offer an efficient security function not lowering performance of a CE(Consumer Electronics) device by keeping the security with a simple procedure. A certification information transmitting module(110) transmits certification information to a server(200) and receives the latest certification information from the server. A certification information managing module(130) certifies the latest certification information by using the certification information and updates the certification information with the latest certification information if certification is succeeded. A certification module(120) certifies the data received from the server by using the certification information. The certification information includes information for a public key. The certification information module verifies digital signature included in the certification information with the public key and updates the information for the public key with the latest public key information included in the certification information.
